Ahmed Khan is a celebrated Indian choreographer, director, and producer known for his dynamic dance sequences and action-packed films. He started as a child actor in Mr. India (1987). Before choreographing hits like Rangeela (1995) and directing films such as Baaghi 2 (2018) and Baaghi 3 (2020). He also runs his production company, Paperdoll Entertainment. With Sunny Deol, Ahmed Khan choreographed songs in films like Jeet (1996) and Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001). Bringing energy to Sunny’s signature style. With Akshay Kumar, he collaborated on numerous films, choreographing chartbusters in Khiladi 420 (2000), Aitraaz (2004), Kambakkht Ishq (2009), and Housefull 4 (2019), enhancing Akshay’s action-packed and comedic performances.

In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Ahmed Khan shares about his friendship with Akshay Kumar, says, “Akshay became my best friend in 93 because before Rangeela maine Akshay ke saath chota sa sequence kiya tha, woh film kar raha tha suhag, Akshay and Ajay, toh Kokikoli director toh Akshay told me, ‘Amo chota sa mera introduction karega kya tu?’ in 93, I was 18. Maine bola, bata karte hai, toh bathtub me mai naha raha hu toh hum logo introduction shoot kiya aur woh itna accha hua, toh actually before Rangeela, Akshay was the guy that pushed me, ‘tu kar’. Rangeela hui uske baad Akshay ke saath I did multiple songs, Akshay ke saath toh non stop I worked so they used to support me, all these people, then Shah Rukh supported me a lot initially when I started, Aamir toh of course Rangeela me the, he also. So woh daur chalta gaya.”
Ahmed Khan on his special bond with Sunny Deol
Ahmed Khan shares a surprising fact, “One person I got really close to was, aap surprise ho jayenge, Sunny Deol. He is not a dancing hero but, he used to love me so much, he used to just say only Ahmed will do my songs. Toh he used to say, ‘Ahmed nahi hoga toh mai nahi karunga.’”
When asked about his films with Sunny Deol he said, “Ek film thi which was called, Aang Rakshak, yaad hai woh film? Pooja Bhatt heroin thi, I was an assistant toh I used to go to his room and teach him dancing toh he said, ‘Itna acchi tarah tu sikhata hai yaar’, toh waha se joh ho gaya attatchment, then he said meri films only Ahmed will do, then I started doing films with Sunny, then I made him dance very well in one song in Zor, toh he’s doing hip-hop, when he saw he was shocked, ‘Yeh mere se kaise karaya tune Ahmed’, ‘Tu kara leta hai, tere me ek tarika hai, you make it like a matter of fact, make it sound like a dance in a party’, toh uske baad se when he directed also Dil lagi whatever films, only Ahmed.”
